Exclusive Leak: First Images of Garmin Fenix 8, Fenix E & Enduro 3
Today we have exciting news about the Garmin Fenix 8 series! After reporting on the UK Declaration Of Conformity Fenix 8 earlier release, we’ve finally seen the first pictures thanks to WinFuture. Here’s what we know so far:
The Garmin Fenix 8 looks like it will keep its rugged design, which is ideal for people who need a durable watch. It will be available in two sizes: 47mm and 51mm. So you can find the right size for your narrow or wide wrist. The watch will be made of either steel/glass or titanium/sapphire and you can choose between different colors.

The Elevate 5 heart rate sensor is one of the coolest new features. It enables more accurate heart rate measurements, which is extremely beneficial to athletes and fitness aficionados. The Fenix 8 is also water resistant up to 40 meters, allowing you to swim and even dive.
It also features a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing you to make and receive calls when your phone is attached, similar to the Venu 3. The screen’s bezels have also been modified somewhat.
One big change is the new AMOLED display. This means that the screen will be very bright and colorful. There is also a possibility that there will be a version with a MIP screen. MIP screens are good for viewing in bright sunlight and can extend battery life.
Fenix 8 E model
There is also a new model called Fenix 8 E. This model will only be available in the 47mm size and may be a cheaper option. Even though it is cheaper, it still has an AMOLED display. However, it looks like it could be equipped with an older heart rate sensor, similar to the Fenix 7 or Epix.
Enduro 3 model
If you like the Enduro watches, there will also be an Enduro 3. It will be available in a 51mm size, which is ideal if you like larger watches. This model will be equipped with a MIP display that is easy to read even in bright light.
What about the Epix series?
With the Fenix 8 getting the AMOLED display and the Enduro 3 keeping the MIP display, we wonder what will happen to the Epix series. Garmin might merge some of its models, so we’ll see how things develop.
Pricing and market launch
We’ve also heard something about pricing. The 47mm Fenix 8 could cost around €1,099 and the 51mm version around €1,199. This suggests that Garmin is positioning the Fenix 8 as a high-end watch.
Garmin usually unveils new watches in late August or early September, often at IFA in Europe. We don’t yet know if Garmin will be at IFA 2024, but the company has always unveiled new products around this time in the past.
As the launch draws closer, we’ll likely learn more about the Fenix 8 series and other new Garmin watches. Stay tuned for more updates!
