Let’s face it — most Android smartwatches are great until you have to charge them every night. I’ve tested numerous models over the years, including well-known ones from Samsung and Amazfit. While they’re solid, they still fall short in one key area: battery life.
That’s precisely why the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro caught me off guard.
It’s not the most hyped smartwatch on the market. It doesn’t come with flashy marketing or celebrity campaigns.
But what it does offer is refreshingly practical: incredible battery life, an innovative design, and a killer price — just $160 (down from $349).

The Battery Life Is Legit (Finally)

After using the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro daily — for runs, workouts, sleep tracking, and just day-to-day life — I’ve only had to charge it once a week. That’s not an exaggeration.
Mobvoi promises up to 90 hours of battery life in Smart Mode and 45 days in Essential Mode. From my real-world testing, that checks out. For comparison:
- My Samsung Galaxy Watch typically dies halfway through day two.
- My Amazfit GTR can last up to three days, but only in reduced mode.
- The TicWatch? Easily hits 4–5 days with everything on.
And when you do need a top-up, just 30 minutes of fast charging gives you almost 2 days of power. That’s huge.
Dual Display: Clever, Customizable, and Practical

One of the reasons this watch sips power so well is its dual-layer display:
- A full-color AMOLED underneath for full smartwatch functionality
- An ultra-low-power screen on top that’s always on, always visible
You can choose from 18 background colors and get at-a-glance info like steps, heart rate, battery, and time — even under bright sunlight.
It’s beneficial during workouts when the screen lights up in colors that reflect your heart rate zone.
Twisting the rotating crown launches richer data, including GPS, blood oxygen, compass, and more, right from low-power mode.
Fitness Tracking That’s Ready When You Are
With 100+ workout types supported in the TicExercise app, you’ll find everything from basic cardio and strength to yoga and rowing.
You get key metrics like:
- Heart rate zones
- VO2 Max
- Recovery time
- Real-time pace
- GPS-based distance
One slight downside: you can’t customize workout screens natively. If you’re the type who wants complete control over your layout, that’s a minor letdown.
But this is Wear OS, so you can install third-party apps like Strava or Nike Run Club and tailor the experience to your liking.
Premium Build, Without the Premium Price
At this price, you’d expect plastic and compromises. You won’t find either.
- 🛡️ Sapphire glass display – Durable and scratch-resistant
- 🧱 7000-series aluminum case – Lightweight yet rugged (just 44.7g)
- 🌊 5ATM water resistance and MIL-STD-810H durability
- 🔄 Newly redesigned rotating crown – Smooth and satisfying to use
The 1.43-inch AMOLED display is bright, sharp, and perfectly sized for notifications, maps, and app controls.
The strap is comfortable, featuring quick-release pins, and it feels like a smartwatch that could have easily launched at twice the price.
Wear OS Means Smarter Features

Because it runs Google’s Wear OS, you get:
- Google Maps
- Google Wallet
- Google Assistant
- Messages, Calendar, and Keep Notes
- Voice-to-text (which works surprisingly well)
Additionally, over 7,000 watch faces are available through Time Show. Change your look every day? Go for it.
The watch runs Wear OS 3.5, powered by a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip, and an update to Wear OS 4 is expected. Note: Mobvoi has been slow with updates in the past.
Final Verdict: Better Than You’d Expect — and Smarter Than Most
The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro may not have the flashiness of Samsung or the minimalist fitness appeal of Amazfit, but it’s the most well-rounded and practical smartwatch I’ve used in years.
If your priorities are battery life, daily comfort, and innovative features, this is the perfect choice.
✅ Outstanding battery
✅ Clean Wear OS experience
✅ Durable and customizable
⚠️ Slower update cycle, no LTE option
